American artist, songwriter and musician, Jason Glasser performed sketches of Pelican’s twelve shimmering tracks in French art galleries, before recording in early 2020. On stage, Glasser accompanies his playfully minimalist vocals with cello or guitar, immersed in his richly colored installations. “The narrative these songs create together is loose,” he explains, “like a children’s book with some pages ripped out.” French electronic music pioneer, Étienne de Crécy has crafted an authentic mix, giving space to each sound, like artworks in an exhibition.
