Author, compositor, interpret and actress, Calypso Valois is a multidisciplinary artist passionate about art in all its many forms. After a theatrical curriculum in Paris, she quickly started acting for renowned and awarded directors such as Olivier Assayas (Après Mai, Personal Shopper), Michel Gondry (L’Ecume des Jours) or Catherine Corsini (La Belle Saison). In parallel, she started a musical career that took off in 2010 alongside Etienne Daho on the duet single Amoureux Solitaires, soon followed by several EPs and one LP with Cinema, her band from the time.. Calypso continued her journey in solo with 2017 LP Cannibale in which she imposed her signature francophone orchestral narrative pop. After several other roles in french and international movies and series (The White Crow by Ralph Fiennes, Vernon Subutex, Irma Vep), Calypso Valois just released her new album "Apocalypso".
